Does anyone know of a good way to get the coin out of these? I'd prefer to save the packaging as best I can, but that doesn't seem likely.

I twisted it and it just popped open but it also broke the clips. Sorry I can't help.

I have some extras of Deleware. Give me a bit to look I will be back. It doesn't seem likely based off its a nightmare just to get them in and out of the sleeve.
Least amount of damage to the packaging.. seems doable though.

Ok. That was easy.
The capsuLe has a lip you'll feel with your finger tip. Pry on that lip lightly in a circular pattern just a ltitle bit, and in about 30 seconds to a minute the capsule will pop open and be able to be closed again.
You slide out the insert from the sleeve, fold it out and the lip is there on that inside.
Then just pry up lightly as you go around and nothing should break and the cap will release, just be patient and slowly increase pressure. Take your time. You got all day. Lol.
I honestly thought it would be more complicated than that, it's not. Just take your time so as not to break anything it will let go.
Oh and if you meant removing the coin and capsule from the paper portion of the packaging, yeah that's going to damage it without a doubt.

Thank you, Big-Kingdom! That turned out to be much easier than expected. The bottom part seems to be inserted between the plies of stock they used for the display, so you're right that the capsule likely won't come out without damage. But since I only wanted the coin, that didn't matter to me. The top part of the capsule comes right off quickly and fairly easily. And with that:

That looks awesome. The 2018-S proof first patent is still available from the mint.

Is that this album: American Innovation Dollars WITH PROOFS 2108 TO 2025 ALBUM #2177 or is that a custom creation to include the reverse proofs?

Yes, it's the standard "with proofs" edition, #2177.
