Wrong section indeed, but still a very nice find. Love the clash.

Thanks, Zurie for your input. The Morgan now lies in the appropriate forum, sorry about that, wasn't paying attention. It's PCI graded, and I immediately felt it was accurately graded as there's still some luster in the more protected areas of the design. There was no VAM designation on the slab, but for $37, I felt it was too good to pass up. There are four stages in the 91-O, VAM-1A: 1A1, 1A4, 1A2 and the last and rarest stage 1A3. The last two stages have an R7 rating. Do any other Morgan enthusiasts dislike the 2.0 version of vamworld? The site offers less pics for the die markers to look for, and in most cases gives only a full size pick of the obverse only.

First of all, NICE pick!! Looks like 1A2 to me. As a long time member of VamWorld, I like VW 2.0. IMO, the 2 rarest stages are V1A4 and V1A3.

Just found the twohawks posting of the 'E' clashes of the Morgan dollar series that ran Jan-Mar of 2017.. It was very educational and I enjoyed it very much. I appreciate all the knowledge that this site has to offer. Knowledge is power!

Quote: in most cases gives only a full size pick of the obverse only I find that most of the listing have full-sized pics of obverse and reverse. There are small arrows above the pics and you can scroll over to the reverse photo. I like the new version personally. Congrats on the pickup.

That is seriously nice with the full E clash, my favorite of all clash's. And for $37 you can't go wrong at all. Nicely done. I was lucky enough to pick up 1889-O VAM-1A1 Partial E on a cherry pick from an estate sale a few years back for $25 in VF-25. Love the E clashes.

@Jason. My first 'E' clash that I acquired I bought at full retail price. It was an 91-O, VAM-1A1, NGC graded AU55 for $250. I got lucky on this one. They are hard to cherrypick since the clash is so strong and obvious, and the variety popular. Good luck to you in your searching!
