Well of course by Tropicalbats. One of the errors he decided to stick in the package.

Never had one till now, so it's a great addition! Most of these coins that I'll be posting the next few days originate from Bats.

Nice coin! This kind of error really shows how much pressure the coin are struck with. Plating splits, device echoes and "extra" metal all tell their own stories about the minting process.

What's the diameter on this one?

That was the last year of the bags of coin. 2001 went to the pallets of coins sent to the various locations to roll and distribute.

Excellent pick up.

I wondered why there were so many OFF CENTER strikes on Cents and Nickels particularly in 2000!
