I've never shopped for unslabbed Dutch ducatons, but I would guess they still pop up at the Schulman and Elsen auctions?
Also, an unexpected place where 17th century Low Countries material shows up is at the Polish and Baltic houses (Niemczyk, WCN, Marciniak, etc). Again, I've never looked for ducatons, but I've picked up some Spanish Netherlands patagons there, and I know that Dutch (gold) ducats and leeuwendaalders used to show up often.

Dutch trade daalders clearly were used/traded with in the Baltic region... tons of them offered on ebay the last 5, 6 years or so (clearly hoard-type discoveries). Seems that this primarily applies to early-mid 1600s leeuwendaalders and rijksdaalders.

Quote: Thanks! Both are Ducats, part of a limited Netherlands Crown type set.

It should be stated for accuracy that these are ducatONs... not the Dutch "silver ducat", which is a different coin.
Quote: I'm not in the market, but it was drawn to my attention that there were a lot of fairly rare piedforts, etc there, so ... just thought I'd ask
Yes, there were some beautiful double ducats and piedforts on the auction block. They went for very large sums of money. Edit to add: I have pretty much decided to give up on collecting Provincial Silver Ducats and just focus on my other collections. Not willing to pay $$$ for coins and have them sit on a bookshelf.
