Do you think they will sell both of these coins on the same day? If so, are you going to try for the gold or silver?

Definitely silver for me.
I think the gold could be a windfall if you can get your hands on one but I won't be trying for one.

I doubt they would sell both on the same day because it would probably create too many problems with the site. Quote:

I've been squirreling away extra in the hopes of getting the gold, but feel like morgans dad. So I'll settle on the silver if the buying frenzy doesn't prevent that from happening.

The gold one for me just isn't affordable given the current economic conditions. I see the upwards potential of it but I don't think I can manage to do it. And even if I could minting 1945 of them, it's going to sell out in a snap of the fingers.
They are making 75K of the silver Eagles it's enough to not get crazy.
No idea why they just did 1945 of the gold eagle they could have done 19450 really and it wouldn't be a total mess for their website.
If you go for the gold I suggest you set up copy/paste, auto fills every little advantage possible and be on time to the Second. The dealers will have it flooded and it's going to sell out in a minute or two tops.it's going to sell out 100x faster than the 2019S ERP SAE.

It wouldn't surprise me that the mint would try and sell both at the same time. I would hate to try and spend time trying to get the gold coin and then find out the silver was sold out before you could get one. The website would be a mess for sure again :)

I'll go for the silver first since that's the one I want in my collection. If I go for the gold, it's purely to flip. I could probably get a couple common gold eagles for that one.
