Ty all for the comments it is always fun to find old coins in your change!  I am aware that the head is actually of Lady Liberty ....  I will always think of Mercury https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mercury_(mythology) as a male because I first learned about him in Roman terms.

Sadly the Mercury dime isn't actually a representation of Mercury. Like the Buffalo nickel is actually not a buffalo, it's a bison. The Mercury dime is a representation of liberty with a winged Phrygian cap which symbolizes freedom of thought. So it's definitely not a him. But no matter still a cool find. Last "Mercury" Dime I ever got in change was in the 70's, getting one 40+ years later is pretty cool!
