Hello everyone,

This quarter has multiple die cracks on the obverse and reverse. It also has a die chip between the leaves on the right side on the reverse. I was just wanting confirmation and to know if it is worth anything more than face value.

Thanks for looking,

FOMC

Might be somewhat attractive to collectors of die cracks and die chips. Given the condition of the subject quarter, someone might be willing to spend as much as .75 cents to a buck fifty for it.

The die is showing its age. But still has hundreds of thousands of more coins to strike before retirement.

Tunnioc nailed it! Thank you! It seems to match multiple different varieties so I'm not sure if it's a new variety or just a variant of an existing one. Either way I will be sending pics to cuds-on-coins. It seems to match closest to SKH-25c-1996P-04 and SKH-25c-1996P-06. I will also be doing research to see if it's worth anything and worth grading. It seems to be in very good condition for a 24 year old coin.
