Sorry. I simply cannot tell--given the photos posted--if this coin is a DDO. Please describe what you're seeing. Please consider posting close-in, high resolution images of where the DDO shows.

Not seeing anything, but better pictures would be needed. Have you been comparing with listings on variety vista, Wexler's die varieties, etc.?

Since you are new hear and I don't know how long you have collected coins, please forgive me if what I tell you is something you already know.

A true Doubled Die is collectable and is made by the dies that stamp the coins actually having two of the same design engraved in them.

Mishaps with the machinery making the coins can make what is known as Machine Doubling (MD - also sometime called Strike Doubling) - common and no added value. Another type of doubling is Die Deterioration Doubling ( DDD) which happens as the dies making the coins wear out with usage.

We do not have clear enough pics to be able to determine any kind of doubling. When we can see it, we can help you determine if its an actual DDO, MD, or DDD. You also can search this forum for MD and DDD to find out how to tell them apart from legit doubling.

@danaro, first welcome to CCF. Second, here is the best I can do with enlarging and enhancing the region of interest on your coin. I agree that better pics would help us to provide more input.
