This is an odd DDR as far as Washingtons go. There is a strong spread on one leaf and the eagles talons. What do you think?

It's the 801. As I said "odd DDR as far as Washington's go".I even pointed out the talons that are twice as thick as normal. You can see it easily on the right talon.

Definitely FS-801. Excellent find! I personally like this variety. It's unique to see this strong doubling on and around the talons and then little to no doubling anywhere else. Regardless, it's a strong doubled die and a very nice example you own here.

I'm pretty sure you are right @will. When I blow up you pic of the talons, I see multiple toes doubled.

It is FS-801. The area between the mintmark and the bottom of the branch makes if look like the mintmark is in the wrong location, but it is, in the correct location.
