Hey guys! So I know this topic has been discussed Ad Nauseam however is there any chance a small date variety could have been made at the Denver mint? I found a really good specimen and have drawn lines and also when looking at the curvature or the 9, looks A LOT like a small number variety! Please look and let me know what you think! In the large date and curve is much more open, where in this one the curve is tighter in and the end is not at all blunt! Keep me posted! And sorry about the penny picture, I am still learning how to turn them so they are the right way for you to look. Just look at first picture where I have drawn lines!!

The angle is flat using my coin microscope, so not sure how to change that angle. Also, that is why I am asking about the possibility that a small date could have been made at DENVER mint. I know it is not an "s" that is why I am asking. How do I change the angle from flat on a coin microscope base? I want to try and figure this out. What about the curve in the 9?

Looks like a large date. 7 is below 0 in date. Circulation flattening on 7 and 9.

1970 large or small dates only apply to the San Fran minted cents.

Only the San Francisco mint had dies with the year variety on them.

Also the '9' is affected different between the two different dies that year.
RDV-025 is the large date, RDV-026 is the small date.
