This came up at auction mis-titled as DDO-001. But also as WDDO-019, which is correct. It is also listed as 1DO-001 for those crazy about cross-references. It was likely a typo, as the written description and photos were excellent and fully correct. Anyway, the coin is DDO-005 and shows RPM-016 (that was shown in the sellers photos but not mentioned in the listing). But even with great photos and a minor typo, the coin was listed with a starting bid of $4.99 and that's what I got it for. Less than eight bucks delivered for a strong MS grade coin with a double variety. Doubling occurs on the 1 and 9 of the date, plus both T's of TRUST and the RPM is south. 1943-D Lincoln Wheat cent doubled die- DDO-005, RPM-016

I must be looking at the wrong auctions. Nice pick up and post TB. Did you change light source for the bottom two photos?

Sweeeet. And a fairly Early die state as well. Congrats on a superb pick. Just look at that last T in TRUST.

Thanks all! And CoinHI yes, I switch entirely between the full coin shots and the macros. Full coin shots need to show the color of the coin fairly correctly, while the macros need to show the variety correctly. So the macros are shot using a stereoscope, which for better or worse is positioned where the platform is in line of site with my office light. It's pretty unnoticeable with copper coins, but switching to anything silver colored will have an orangish overtone to it. I can easily fix that by turning that lamp off when taking the photos, but I usually don't worry about it since the goal is to show the variety as the color is established with the full-coin pics.

Wow! Fantastic as always! To steal (or in this case STEEL) and paraphrase a line from a movie... You make me want to be a better numismatist.

Very nice find TB. I swear you must live on ebay. Still love to see them when you find them.
