This looks like a legitimate D/D mark with more than a 90 degree rotation. Just some random change searching lead me to this today. I could not find many other examples like mine with the same year, but I have found one other online that closely resembles what I am seeing here (See link at the bottom for the example I am referring to).

to CCF!

Unfortunately that is not an RPM. What that is is the plating from the cent having bubbled up and is now rotting off, think of like a rotten banana.

SwoonPoon: To CCF. With GrapeCollects. Just Zink Rot Burst Bubble as is the one on the Like you provided. The person selling that coin is misinformed or has no clue what he or she is doing. Now lets talk about the rotated reverse. that's a almost a full rotation buy the looks of it from your picture. That's a keeper nice find congrats.

@john, in my reading of this thread, I think that the OP was stating that the "RPM" was rotated (as opposed to the entire side of the coin).

That fall off didn't affect the mintmark... yet. Give it more time.

I thought SwoonPoon was talking about the coin rotation also. I wondered how the flip was turned. Up and over or side to side? I find the mirror picture is best for checking rotation percentage.
I agree about the zinc problem.
