1979 P Quarter Weighs 5.75 Gm? - Coin Community Forum

Jim Bee New Member United States 13 Posts	Posted 10/29/2020 4:55 pm I have 3 1979 quarters. Two weigh 5.58 grams and this one weighs 5.75gm. I can find no info. explaining that. This quarter seems to be a bit on the high side of mint tolerance, but that edge shot tells me that it is clad and not silver.
