1950-S Lincoln Wheat Penny-Lamination Error On Lincoln's Nose & Eye?

Rosalita Valued Member United States 96 Posts	Posted 12/28/2020 12:03 pm Hi guys, I have this 1950 s Lincoln Wheat penny and would like to know if this is a Lamination Error on Lincoln's nose and eye? It looks like a piece of metal that was stuck to the end of his nose and another piece of metal near his eye. I see this big nose and think that now Lincoln looks like a clown! I'm no pro with this, so let's see what other people say. (Also, take this with a grain of salt, it's just what I think it is. I'm probably very wrong.) Report this Post to the Staff
ijn1944 Bedrock of the Community United States 19210 Posts	Posted 12/28/2020 12:20 pm I would say PMD--circulation hits pushed relatively soft copper. Nice look on the nose. A closer-in photo of Lincoln's eye would help determine what's going on in that area. Report this Post to the Staff
