Here is a 1986 D Roosevelt dime with a crack/struck thru on the obverse and a struck thru on the reverse.
At first glance I figure it's post mint damage but it looks odd.

The material from the red arrow flowed to the east. The material from the blue arrow flowed and filled the rim gutter- green arrow(it looks as if it melted).

Has anyone ever seen anything like this?

It kind of looks like it, but I'm no pro on this kinda stuff. I took like 5 minutes of googling to even figure out what a struck-through error even was. Then, a few more searches, and I'm now here, typing this, hoping the info I'm lending to you isn't false.

The head-on photo of the rim looks like dentures.

The obverse picture looked promising untill the reverse picture showed a hit and that it was just damage.

Thanks for the input. It sure makes me wonder how the strikes have the field flow lines. I would think that if something hit that hard that it would flatten them out. I'm going to hold on to it. It's an odd one, just like me!

Absolutely. You should keep what is interesting to you, even if there is no added numismatic value.
