Tough call since it is 90% and not 100% silver,so less than going silver prices for sure. Maybe 30% below current bullion value? If I remember right, near the back of the Red Book gives bullion value per denomination?

...I know..I asked twice and got the same answer, I just quietly chuckled and left. However while I was there, I did pick-up a 1984 LA Olympiad comm.dollar for $14.00 from local sellers box..glad they didn't mark it up...

This is just my experience over the past few months. Maybe there is some regional variability, but....

What Silverwolf said is a completely reasonable price through any sources I have. At the spot right now, around 20x face seems about right.

Around here, and through online auctions, or from the big online bullion sellers, there has been a pretty solid premium over spot since the COVID thing started. Buying at or below spot has not been possible for me, unless someone does poor math or does not know the silver content of foreign coins.

Silver dollars tend to bring higher, Morgans also > Peace. Besides their slightly greater (disproportionate to the same face value of other US 90%), the dollars seem to go higher right now. For perspective, I bought some low grade grade Peace dollars in June for $19 each from a private seller when silver was still at around $18. I had my local dealer tell me that that price was below his cost if he ordered through his wholesaler.

Should add that in that pile of Peace dollars—which the previous owner had started to clean with baking soda and aluminum foil—Aack!—was a grubby, sticky, dingy 34 D of an undetermined grade. Some warm water (acetone was not as effective in this instance) removed the gunk to reveal a slightly toned, undamaged AU coin. It promptly displaced another coin from my Peace dollar album!

So they are selling common / circulated / scrap pile Morgan & Peace at $42 each? (210 / 5 = 42 for a $1 face coin)

You can get $10 rolls of silver Washington quarters on ebay for $185-200 just for comparison.

In my 45 years of dealing PM's I don't believe I've even seen a LCS selling 90% below spot.

I was able to get about $5 fv for 16x face at a couple pawn shops, most were BU 50's Washington quarters. I know people can feel weary about them due to extreme markups and the like but if the coins have been sitting on their shelf long enough you can get a deal!

I just paid $305 for 3 rolls of dimes ($15.00 face) so roughly facex20. I don't know if that's inflated but JM Bullion, which is inflated for these type of buys, is getting $430 for the same and ebay seems to start at about $110 to $115 per roll ($5 face)
