I'm back to bother y'all just one more time. Any thoughts on this quarter?

How would you label this coin? Just super worn down? Or is there more which contributed to its condition? All feedback is welcomed

I'd say it's just a very heavily worn quarter with circulation flattening.

Lots of circulation wear plus some sort of environmental exposure to make it so dark (unless the color is an artifact of your photography--it can be hard to get the light balance right sometimes). The reeds are worn flat from something mechanical such as an early stage Dryer Coin or use in arcade games.

The good thing is even in that condition, it is still worth 25 cents.

Amen to that. I'm old enough to actually remember when you could actually buy something with one shiny little quarter. Good times..thanks for all the input. I'll get learned up real good on this stuff one day. Til then, glad I have somewhere to filter my questions. Thanks again.

No harm in asking questions as long as your learning from it.
