Neat die chips at the base of the 8 and 0 in 1890 and then a larger one on the east lower side of the state outline.

Die is aging fast. As it continues to be used, more and more parts of the die will keep breaking away. Note that most of these chips are in the direction of the closest rims. Never noticed this before. So it is a new thought to me.

so Coop you are saying that a late stage die may deteriorate on devices closer to the rim rather than more in the center of the coin? Should I send it to VV or Wexler?

Yes nice die chips. Looks a little like fallen snow collecting on the numbers.

No need to send it in. The coin is from a normal die. If it were a die variety, then you might send it in for later die state images. But no need on this one. 54% of the coins are VLDS because of die aging.
