This one was a cherrypick brought to my attention by another CCF member (huge thanks!). It's a fairly high grade DDO-001 so I was interested. Downside is that it's an ICG slab and probably more of an AU than an MS, but as a cherrypick the price was worth it. The DDO on the eye is decent, but it's the really sharp RPM that makes this variety fairly popular among collectors. 1927-D/D Lincoln Wheat cent doubled die - DDO-001, RPM-001, FS-501      |

Quite the coin! Very nice DDO and RPM. I do like the color on this one quite a bit, nice and sharp. |

That is a very nice coin! congrats!
But your really nice photography kinda makes it look AUish.

Got this one back from PCGS today and it went AU 55 pretty much as expected. Shows, yet again, not to look at the grades when buying ICG slabs.
It is now one of the minor plate coins on coinfacts.

I love it. Great cherry pick, and still a beauty in AU. I'll take a good AU over a damaged MS (60) anyday.
