All of the mid to late 70's look like DDs. I'm pretty sure there was a dou led hub that was responsible for the devices looking fatter than usual for that span. It's very common for those years to have those fattened letters and numbers. Not a DD in my opinion.

Cannot tell for sure from the pics, but reminds me, from what I can see, of Die Deterioration Doubling - not a doubled die

The question you should ask yourself when you think you have a doubled die: "Where is the doubling? If you compare this coin with a normal one and you will see that the devices are the same size. There are doubled dies that year:
