Do you think this is worth grading and/or gives it added value?

It was advertised as doubling.

It looks like a well worn die to me , not doubled

I'm no expert on Canadian coins but it sure looks like doubling to me.

IMO coins are not worth grading unless they are very high grade and you're trying to sell them.

It looks to me it's Die Deterioration Doubling, but could be MD. The photo don't show enough. Not worth grading, but you could keep it as an oddity

okiecoiner, you are correct.

This is the result of Die Deterioration, I'm not sure if any of you have seen the 2001 P nickel and Quarter, but the same phenomena happened on those as well. The die deteriorated enough to cause chipping of the digits in the Date and what we see here is the result from that.

Not worth grading as I suggested on Facebook before it was posted here.
