It is indeed toned. Whether it's worth keeping is up to you. Because toning such as this is quite common on later cents, it doesn't add any premium, however if you like the look of it then go ahead and put it in a 2x2.

Yes, the coin is toning. Keep it if you want. If you find yourself searching through 1000s and 1000s of cents, you'll come across even better examples.
