2018 D to me has the best doubled ear of any year that has that type of doubling, Shield cents that is.

Looks like you have your work cut out. I agree, go through them and set aside the very best. Also look for issues which have sprung up with the 2018 D. Or, list them on ebay.

I don't have the patience (or the eye strength!) for searching new rolls any more, but good luck! to the CCF!

See what the errors are worth, and decide if the effort to find them is worth the bother.

I would probably not go through them.

If they are a sealed box of cents from the same batch. After about 5 rolls you will see if they are normal ones or if there are some variety coin in them. Normal ones, send back the wrapped rolls to bank.

I fetch a box from key bank here in alaska here and there. Best luck with pennys. Circulation is pretty slow here so if I see anything new it takes the batch a while to travel far. And proly not much collectors around.

yes, I'm my opinion, I'd say randomly pull 5 rolls from different places in the box, and get a good feel for the die pairs that will likely be represented. Sometimes you can hit an error or clash or a Cud, and if it's there there will be more. It's a good way to sample the box, without driving yourself crazy looking at everything. just a sample from around the box and see if anything turns up.
