1977 D Jefferson nickel, nice little misaligned die. I didn't set the pics up correctly but the reverse is about 5 degrees off counter clockwise.

with that. There must be a lot of space in those minting presses for a die to move that far out of alignment.

I've seriously never seen anything like it. I would have made a big bet, just looking at the obverse, that it was O/C.

Coinfrog, I am more impressed with you being impressed than I am about the coin itself. As long as you have looked at coins, that says a whole lot.

I thought I already had one for that year, but the one that was submitted to me was a 1975-D
1977-D-Jefferson-Nickel-Misaligned-Die.
