I found this 1966 penny recently, and I'm pretty sure it's a 1966 DDR!!

Thoughts? Notice how the "O"s in "ONE" and "OF" are doubled out on both sides, widening the outline of the letter?

Nice example of Machine Doubling. Put it in a 2x2 for reference purposes.

Never be sure of something. Always ask. If you did have a DDR, you would know it. Forget looking at the inside/outside edges for a doubled die. Look in the centers of the devices Look for the spread of the devices:

Note the centers of these devices? Looking at the outside/inside edges will just help you find Machine Doubling.
