2021 Alabama Quarter With Fingerprint Embedded On The Reverse Side

Not a mint error, since there are no finger print machines at the mint. Just a good old fashioned human with good old fashioned grimy fingers getting their clumsy mitts on it. coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 05/07/2021 09:55 am The salt on your hands will have a reaction to the surface of the coin. On copper cents there are there for life. So if you don't like them, don't buy the coins with them. Also keep fingers off the face of the coin and hold them by the outside edges or wear gloves. Or your fingerprint will travel with the coins.
