Yeah got two now both still have grooves on rim of coin to so not sure how they did not get damaged if it was bent lol oh well I'm sure you guys would know better than me thanks for taking time to look

Well it is still a silver melt coin. So worth more than face. As mentioned it could have been hammer on something solid, or squeezed in a vise. We see so many damaged coins. People trying the create in the garage mint errors. There motto must be:

63 silver has about a$1.90 value for melt. 65 is face value. Configuration for dimes is 0.0723 x value of silver. They definitely add up. Believe 14 dime to make an ounce of silver.

The fact that the reeding is still present in the damaged areas is proof that it is damage. If the dinged in areas were present before striking, the reeding would not be present because the edge would not reach the collar that produces the reeding.
