I'm sure the increasing prices that ebay coins are fetching has been discussed, but I don't understand this listing at all. I had to post and ask the experts here what I am missing. Here is a 37 D Buffalo nickel that as of this post is past $1,500. Is there something I'm missing? It even seems to have surface issues. I'm interested to hear your take on this. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1937-D-SUP...164853431506

It's a really nice coin, and IF it grades MS-67+, it could be worth that. I wouldn't buy one like this unless it was certified, but maybe I'm missing something too. I found this one https://legendauctions.hibid.com/lo...GS-ms68-cac/ that sold for almost $25,000, but it's a top pop coin.
ANA ID: 3203813 - CONECA ID: N-5637 Clean a coin that may be worth collecting? Please DON'T! When in doubt, leave it dirty!!

I just don't understand why an OBW roll of 37-D's came from the Federal Bank of San Francisco .

Known problem seller with juiced pics. I'd be real curious to see how this coin ACTUALLY looks in hand, it's almost certainly been altered. Looks like this one may have had a run through MS70 before it's beauty shots. People have more money than common sense sometimes. You can pick up an already slabbed MS67+ for the current bid price.

Quote: I just don't understand why an OBW roll of 37-D's came from the Federal Bank of San Francisco . Or how said roll has a gem 1913, 1915, 1928, and 1937 all in the same roll lol, sellers a joke (and a successful con artist).

bidiots probably think they are getting the entire roll
seller has 100% positive feedback because they have somehow had 63 non-positive feedback comments revised

I didn't even see that about the "original roll" or the conflicting mint info. I did notice that there are numerous "private listing" bids on all of his listings.

If it's not slabbed I'm not interested. Too much money for a raw coin.

If one feels uneasy about doing business with a particular seller, just walk away. I agree with Kanga on the raw coin aspect.

The "private" current top bidder has bid on 384 items, 80% with this seller. Somebody really likes Canyon City Coins.
