I found this 1962 nickel in my change. It looks great but I was wondering if it was a proof coin.

That's what I was thinking. Do you know if there is any value to it? It obviously hasn't been in circulation very long.

100% a proof coin. Very cool to find in change! Probably not a huge value to it but it will be worth more than 5 cents. Probably $1?

Very little value as a mishandled proof - less than a dollar, I'd guess.

Proof for sure.

Weird these days to find any proof change in circulation since there isn't much a whole busted proof set could buy at face value. Let alone a nickel.
Years ago kids might bust Dad's coin sets up for pocket money but it isn't worth doing anymore.
