2018 Denver Lincoln Cent With Marks Above United.

Morph Valued Member United States 99 Posts	Posted 05/18/2021 6:00 pm This coin has marks above the letters U,N,I,T, and E with two lines in between the T and E. These did not look like regular scratches to me. Could someone help me identify what this is and why it happens? Thank you. Report this Post to the Staff

Those nearly parallel lines that radiate upward from the tops of the letters to the rim are more likely from die wear.
