On this one look for the inner loop on the '9':  Like on your coin it remains, regardless how bad the circulation flattening gets.  While this looks like Machine Doubling, its not. These devices are wider than normal. MD only reduces the normal devices.

Very nice! These are super tough to find. I know the scratch would be a bit of drag but I'd rather have a scratch than a cleaning. I always prefer original surfaces with light damage or corrosion rather than an unnatural cleaning. Your example looks just fine!

Thanks for the kind words! These are always kind of special for me as one pretty similar to this was one of the first doubled die wheat cents I ever found.

Congrats on a special variety. This variety in VF was also one of the first varieties I found and got me hooked on varieties.
