A long work in progress, developed and designed by yours truly, is finally available to the public. Although this long work in progress is not complete, it is finished enough for public use. When complete, it will have nearly 13,000 images of all sort of modern coins. It's free for use to the public and includes census data for graded coins as well as a price guide for all issues. Come check it out! http://www.ModernCoinInfo.com

WOW! Very, very nice site...WELL DONE! I love the shadow box pop-up pics. The design is concise and you can find what your after from the home page easily. For me (and I think the good web designers), if you can't find what you want within 10 seconds or so = GONE. I found the cents link and was immediately drawn in. The mintage figures and pricing guide are also very nice to have right in the top-center of the page. I think most collectors and would-be collectors will hit those a lot. Congrats and thanks for all your work to progress the hobby Chuck.

Wow - it was just like the one I was putting together (heavy sarcasm). Seriously, I will be a frequent visitor to the site and put it high on my bookmarks for quick access. Nice job.

Indeed there is a lot of information there, but it isn't yet 'complete' - like I said above. It is designed to be an instant 'look-up' for just about anything modern. Although I can take most of the credit for the technical part of making it work, the site was the idea of, and belongs to John Maben. If it had not been for his idea to make this work, it would not be there. All told, there was actually a team of people behind the whole thing: John Maben - owner of JMRC, Inc. out of Sarasota, Florida, also owner of www.moderncoinmart.com is the initial 'thought power' behind the site, and the reason why much of the detail is there. He's very detail oriented and thought through what people could use and had me implement it. George FitzGerald - A young and bunting programmer, coin photographer, and numismatist. His 'learning piece' was this site, and I think he did a great job helping out with the programming. David Lange - Some may know him for his research into a number of subjects, or his books through Whitman, or even his worth through NGC. At any rate, he's one of the most respected numismatic researchers of his time. He wrote most of the historically rich 'overviews' on the site, and there are yet others to add. NGC staff membes Scott Schechter and Sam Yochem helped ensure I had good NGC data from which I built the database. Dennis Baker from Numismedia is responsible for providing us our value data. Jeremy Katz was the original project lead and helped with the initial design of the site.
