. Not an error. It is referred to as road rash, a coin that got ran over in a parking lot.

Post strike damage. The coin didn't leave the striking chamber in that condition. Not an error. Wonder what the obverse looks like.

That coin is now a cull coin. All it took to make a cull was a single mark. This one is toast. (burnt toast)

Never hurts to ask, but I have to agree, you have a cent in rough shape, no mint error here, just post mint damage ( PMD).
