Very weak strike on this one, but I'm a fan of the "watery" luster and ripples surfaces this year is known for. Not for everyone though

This die pair probably struck more coins than 99% of the die pairings in the series. VAM-1 VNA VLDS later became VAM-6 VLDS. The survival numbers of this one is very high....

I'll say MS64 in an OGH.

tough call with the photo though the holder and lighting. weaker than normal strike for this year, particularly the reverse. I'm assuming that the dull areas on cheek are from the lighting and holder distortion rather that broken luster. because of the weak reverse I have this one MS64

You guys pretty much nailed it! It got 64.

PQ for a 64 IMO, minus the strike weakness theres not a lot going against it.
Rest in Peace

It has a strong argument for MS65 at today's standards.

I think this is an MS65 in today's world, though the grade is visible in the first photo of the slab, so we all know what PCGS thought originally. Worthy of a crack out and resub IMO.
