1991 D Penny - Die Shift? - Coin Community Forum

Cons Valued Member United States 399 Posts	Posted 06/14/2021 4:47 pm Howdy. I have a 1991 D penny and the date has a double shadow. I do not think this is DD nor MD. Did some research, maybe a die shift? Thanks for all opinions / comments, appreciate your help. Report this Post to the Staff

On the older die wear actually wore on outside edges of the devices: But on the single squeeze devices, the devices stay normal and the fields are altered. Thus I call this on the Single squeeze dies, DDD. Report this Post to the Staff
