And here's the second one which that crack or split is a lot more evident there's also doubling of some kind it appears... Any help as to what's going on would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

I agree that it looks like some Ridge Ring on IGWT. The lightness of strike on STATES OF is due to the metal in this area flowing into Abe's bust. This seems to be quite common.

Images one and two are the same image, of the same coin. If you are comparing die examples, they could have the same major markers and the same mintmark locations on the pre 1990 cents, but on these coins, when the plated zinc dust is the same on both sets of images and when discoloration is present in the same spots, then I spot these examples, they are same coins images. (Not two different coins from the same die pair)
