Ok on this one the lighting is making the coin bright though in hand it has a natural color some luster still but looks circulated some. The line between the 8 and the 3 is on the coin. It looks like a strike through or something that happened during minting but I can not be certain so I would say based on the detail of the coin tell me what you think. Coin is heavily clashed on the obverse with clashing on the reverse as well. thanks for your opinions, I picked it up do to the clashing. Edited by JasonKflo 06/21/2021 6:38 pm

@JK, you posted this in the grading subforum but it seems like your question is around the clashing and potential strike-through so I'm going to move this thread over to the varieties and error subforum. If I am mis-understanding your intent, please let me know and I'll move it back here.

Nice example of what I like to call the "rhinocerous clash" in Kennedy halves. The 1983 P is one of the Kennedys were this clash can be found more regularly though not common. Most clashes only show the rhino horns, while yours is good enough to also have the "stegosaurus spikes" on the back of the neck as well as in other areas. The pics are too fuzzy to tell for sure when I zoom in, but I think the line between the numbers is PMD.
