Was going through some rolls today and found this at the top of one wondering what the imprinting left on his cheek as well as around his face and chin is; as well as is it worth something more than just a special place in my heart Not roll damage it's imprinted into the coin not scraped or gouged

Looks like a VLDS coin with a bit of PMD.

to the CCF!

It could also be that the obverse die was covered in grease or oil with debris from the press. I'd like to see updated pictures of both sides of the coin once you remove it from the roll. Try to shoot directly above and parallel to the coins surface so we get a true idea of what the coin looks like.

From the photo supplied, it looks like a small Struck Through Grease.

Would like to see photos of the coin removed from the wrapper. I'm leaning toward advanced Die Deterioration, but would like to see more. Thanks.

Terrible shape for a new coin. I agree, Die Deterioration and post mint damage ( PMD). I wouldn't bother removing it from the roll. Keep searching.

The area on the chin appears to be Struck Through Grease. The coin also appears to be suffering from Die Deterioration.
