This has to fake, right? To perfect? Never seen another coin like. War Nickel? "Black beauty"? Fake?

What are you seeing other than a normal well circulated nickel? Value 5-10 cents. Certainly not a War Nickel.

I've got to ask, Do you know what years world war 2 took place ? I'll agree with southsav it's a normal well circulated 1958 nickel. value five cents

WADR, it seems you will need to do a lot of reading, researching. Not a War Nickel, not a black beauty, not a fake. It is a normal well circulated coin.

The only thing that I would add is that the dark color likely comes from environmental exposure.

Agree with all above. Over the years I've come across hundreds if not thousands of well-circulated nickels having a very similar look.

Looks like it was sprayed with primer and then circulation has worn off the higher devices. Just a face value coin.
