There's a well known ebay seller with a perfect 100% feedback whom I've purchased from in the past. This seller, in my experience, issues a shipping label as soon as your payment goes through, but then he waits two weeks before shipping. I've seen neutral and negative feedback on this seller in the past, but its now gone. Disappeared. I usually left great feedback after my purchases but after the delay happened to me several times I left a neutral feedback with this sole complaint. That neutral feedback never showed up on his account and the seller has now banned me. I complained to ebay asking how this could be, and got no response. I'm just curious how an ebay seller can "sterilize" their feedback of all complaints. How/Why does ebay allow them to do that? The ban is rather insulting as well. Edited by EDM

So, you're saying that because its a high volume seller that ebay let's them do as they please? Even editing their feedback? |

There is no question that ebay works with its high-volume sellers to manipulate their feedback scores. I've seen ample evidence of it. |

You avoid this by not buying from them in the future. I've had the same issues before and only give them one chance.

That's out right crazy , not good business . Many people buy from e-bay sellers by their feedback alone . Can't trust anything anymore .  |

No upside in listing names. ebay is simply making a pragmatic choice when it bows to a prominent seller rather than the occasional disgruntled buyer. Edited by Coinfrog

I'm not taking the sellers side on this & hate it when people don't ship immediately. Having said that, the seller can specify how long between the order is placed & when they will ship. As long as they meet their self-imposed deadline they can have neutral or negative feedback removed under the rules. Not something I agree with but it is a possibility.

if the item is delivered before ebay's estimated date of delivery, then any bad feedback can be removed, regardless of how quickly it hits the post office.. All a seller has to do, is message ebay, that item was received within their window of time, and the neutral, negative feedback will get removed.. |

Only ebay can revise negative and neutral feed back. There is a spot on the seller's feedback page that states the amount of feed backs revised. |

In my case I was buying rolls of uncirculated Peace dollars and they were arriving up to 2 weeks late after the ebay delivery date. I messaged the seller three times over several months and never received a response. A forth time I told the seller that despite my otherwise satisfaction I would have to leave a neutral response regarding the late shipments and lack of communication. The only response was to get blocked by seller. Edited by EDM
