Looks like AU details. The surface pitting (if that's what is is) could be ED from salt water exposure or some other adverse environment. Hopefully you didn't pay a problem-free AU price for this coin.
On the plus side, the reverse strike looks above average, with nearly full star radials and bar detail.

Jaobler, This coin has luster and cartwheel effect which is pretty neat.
On the reverse, the rays put on a little show when tilted under light. My pictures don't do it justice.

Beautiful coin for sure, but shame of the pitting. If grading straight, MS 62 perhaps?
