It looks like a Retained Interior Die Break with a missing section (die chip) and a nice circular die crack.
ANA ID: 3203813 - CONECA ID: N-5637 Clean a coin that may be worth collecting? Please DON'T! When in doubt, leave it dirty!!

I agree, a nice find. I would give it a 100% acetone dip and then 2x2 it. John1

A keeper in a 2x2 but certainly not worth the cost of grading. Nice find though.

Very nice find! It's actually an IDB,(Interior Die Break), the fact it was not retained, is was causes the die chip. Yours is listed on Cud on Coins as IDB-1c-1956-03. Here is a link, just scroll down to the fore mentioned number and you will see one that looks just like yours. http://cuds-on-coins.com/lincoln-ce...k-1909-1958/

Nice Find! This is actually both a RIDB and a IDB listed on COC's. I recently found one as well and posted it here. http://goccf.com/t/404229

Quote: This is actually both a RIDB and a IDB listed on COC's. Nice catch, CoinHI, I stand corrected. I should read the fine print at the bottom of the listing. Nice find on yours! I checked out the cross reference and saw my listing, RIDB-1c-1956-04, I had forgotten that I had one listed for this year/mm.

Image #3. A unique hair on the coin. Eyelash/mustache/pet hair?
