Are you comparing the same year coins? There have been slight modifications over the years to Abe's face

Don't have one the same year. Was comparing to a 2000, and a 94 this is a 97 I might have a 97 at home.

Here's a couple more pics different angles. I think it looks like there is a small ding on Abe's nose, and to me it makes it look like is nostril is super big, but idk

Yes for sure there is a circulation ding on the tip of Abe's nose.

I've only seen one doubled die that has the nose affected. And it is the biggest DDO: Note the lips on this die? So to affect that area would be unusual on the older style dies. On the single squeeze dies, so far I've not seen that area affected.

@spence, in the last picture I posted you can see the ding, but his nostril even without that should basically store where the ding is I think it's Minor MD and it's just causing me to see a weird image. The nostril though is messing with me. At one angle it's to long, at another it almost looks like a die chip under the nostril, I'll just have to stare at it for another hour from different angles on my phone lol

I think there might be a tiny die chip between the ding in the nose and his nostril. It makes it look like his nostril is really long front one angle and like a burger from another. Either way nothing special, just one if those coins that I've looked at for to long.

Can anyone see what I'm talking about? I see it in the last two photos posted. Definitely not a double die, but why is his nostril so big?
