Hello all, I have an interesting 1940 P Wheat cent which shows a possible 1DR-001 on the reverse, but the obverse (1DO-001) I am not sure of. I am using coppercoins and their subject coin is cleaner than mine is. Also their strike is slightly more centered than my coin, and my higher points of the surface show more wear! However on the reverse, E. Pluribus Unum and the dots are stretched toward the rim and the other tells look close except for the wear and dirt.
So I am throwing caution to the wind and asking the experts for their opinion which normally exposes my faults in coin selection and further damage my ego! Oh well can't win them all but I continue to try. Sorry for all the pics but the wheaty needs them for a good show. Regards & TIA.

The reverse is showing heavy die wear and the obverse devices are normal size. Not a DDR or DDO. Just a normal coin with excessive die wear. The reverse do get even worse:

Not a DDO nor a DDR, just a coin showing it's age. A few too many photos.

I personally don't think you supplied too many photos. Some members do post a bunch of photos, all for naught, and they don't help. You identified the areas you were questioning, supplied the pics you felt needed to be addressed, and your pics were good and clear.
