Is there a 1975D steel Lincoln penney? I've heard so many different rumors or should I say assumptions about this coin!It is not magnetic like my 1943 steel penny? Does it mean something?

To the CCF
Did you weigh it?
If it is non magnetic, it can't be steel.
Possibly a plated CENT but we will need the
weight and pictures of both sides to properly
answer your question.

Not sure the OP actually owns it. Perhaps he's just asking a question.

There is a 1974 aluminum cent but if you have one you better not advertise it, as the US government considers it their property and will take it back.

If the weight is 3.11 grams or more. It is not a steel cent. (2.7 Grams for the steel cents) They didn't have steel planchets since 1943, So it is not a steel cent. Plating will show a slight attraction. But a steel cent will jump to a magnet.
