Hi Friends, Just want to share this (what I think is a) beautifully toned example of one of my more favored RPM's. Personally I enjoy the story I make in my head when I see completely separated RPM's. I imagine the mint employee striking the stamp, looking with a loupe and just saying "oh crap", lol! This colorful little treasure was just acquired from an associate and great guy named Mel Pruitt...thank you Mr. Pruett! I hope some here will enjoy the images. Thanks for the opportunity to share! Happy collecting, E.J. Scott Edited by EScottCoins 09/06/2021 07:25 am

Simply gorgeous! Toning is so even and beautiful. I have to chuckle because I think along those same lines when looking at a completely separated or even a horizontal MM. The mint worker or co-worker probably gives them a head slap. ps. Thank you for the bonus coins and "fun roll". I haven't had time to attribute them yet but several RPM's (in MS) are in the roll. Anyone that is tired of searching "dead" rolls might want to give EScottCoins a gander. Very professional site and images.

I just have to comment.....
I've participated in other forums, for a very short time. I won't state what I didn't like about them. Instead I'll state what I do like about Coin Community. It's collectors enjoying and supporting collectors. Fragile egos and greed appear to be almost non existent. Sooooooo refreshing! What a great place to share in our passion.
Thank you all for the nice comments, appreciated!
Petespockets: You're welcome! It seems you enjoyed what you received and that makes us feel 100% successful. Thanks for the kind words.

Very cool! I love this variety too, the separated mint marks are quite amazing in the Lincoln series. Your example is truly a beauty!
