I'm seeing a combination of an out of focus photo, poor lighting giving the false appearance of doubling, and Die Deterioration blurring the devices. Not seeing anything that would add value.

Looks pretty normal to me. Perhaps pics with different lighting would clarify.

On a DDR on that area, it would not just affect one device. It would affect all on the UNITED area: )).jpg) Note there are two DDR's on this image and one normal set of devices. Note how the DDR's are stronger and weaker in the spreads. The normal one is like your coin. The devices on the centers of the areas in question are normal in size. And on this one, the strength affect them pretty much the same. But sometimes the devices can be strong at one side of the devices and getting weaker. It just depends on how the hub doubled the new die.

The correct terminology is Doubled Die. What you have is not a DD.

Note the overall size of the devices? They are reduced in size, probably from the die being over polished, and the areas you are looking at are on the outside edges, where you will find Machine Doubling. Here is a normal example, compare with the same DDRs: Note the centers of the devices on the DDRs? They are wider on that area in the centers. Take another look back at your coin to see if you can now see what I see on your coin?
