@rose, I see what you are talking about, but with this much circulation wear, it is hard to know for sure that it isn't just damage. For example, perhaps that missing letter L was the result of a grease-filled die, but more likely at this point is that it was mechanically removed in the last 100+ years (such as from a Gumball Machine) or it is now worn into the rim.
