Nice picture. Yes looks to me like the same die. You can almost see that press rattling and rolling while they pressed creating the MD.

Common among the '50s cents, but uncommon to find two coins with two die chips in nearly identical spots, and then Machine Doubling on top of that! Cool!

There are many of these, all probably from the same die. The machine must have been real loose as it has the same MD on each strike:

Sometimes it almost seems harder to find an error-free 1957-D than one with issues.
