An excellent example, tiny dings, scratches and wear result in
AU-55.

AU55 too much wear at the nose and above the eye for a 58.

This coin does indeed have some semi-PL character, and not just in the fields. The letters in LIBERTY in particular show strong reflectivity when viewed at the right angle. This photo shows some of this effect.

1820-Gold-Half-Eagle-For-Grade-And-Comment

PCGS graded this coin AU-50 and I think it's very strong for that grade. It's definitely a major highlight in my collection.

i had this one at AU53 so I think its a little undegraded as well. I just love the early gold pieces but never owned one
